|Community description:||A comm for fanfics about musicians that are also crossovers.|
|Welcome to bandover, a comm for Real Person Fanfiction stories about musicians, which are also crossovers. Crossovers are fun and there are many good ones out there, but they often become lost among other good stories. Here we hope they will stand out from the crowd.|
|We take Gen, Het and Slash and the only prerequisites are that the fiction contains musicians and is a crossover of some kind.
All enquiries should go to firstname.lastname@example.org where one of the mods will answer you.
|What is a Crossover?||A crossover is a story that fullfils one of the following criteria:
|What is not a Crossover?||What does not count is if you just happen to put vampires or elves into your fic. If you are crossing a specific universe in, with specific rules, that is fine, but if you are making up your own versions of vampires etc. this is not a crossover. For this comm Tokio Hotel/Buffy is okay, Tokio Hotel/vampire-you-made-up is not.
Also if your fic just happens to mention another band, for example the fic is set at a music festival and mentions the other acts, but they don't play a significant role, this does not count. This one is subjective and if in doubt ask us at email@example.com.
|Rules||Please 'friends lock' all new NC-17 posts Thank you.
Flaming (saying rude nasty things about someone's work) is not welcome here.
|All stories submitted must have significant original content and stand on their own merits. Fics based on other sources are acceptable, but only if they lend new content to the original. This is a subjective area - if in doubt contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and ask.|
If you story uses content from another source then the source must be cited in the notes for the story somewhere. If it is an obvious quotation like "He's dead, Jim" a citation is not necessary, but if in doubt cite anyway. Anything quoted should have a citation unless it's so obvious it has as good as entered the language.
